Big Pharma has joined up with Big Tech to further suppress the free speech of the American population. Now, YouTube—the popular online video platform owned by Alphabet Inc (Google’s parent company)—has banned all anti-vaccine content. The video hosting site stated that it will now censor or silence those with alternative views to the mainstream narrative.
As the term “anti-vaccine” or “anti-vaxxer” is ambiguously defined and subjectively interpreted by the company itself. This measure suggests the platform may ban any alternative views against big pharma monopolies. “Anti-vaccine content” is an increasingly regulated term, often excluding conflicting information found on the CDC’s website—as well as clinical trial side effects—from its definition.
Similar to the term “conspiracy theorist”, branding one an “anti-vaxxer” reduces their credibility of truth in the public eye. This tactic is often used by mainstream media and Big Tech to push a government narrative, or divide the country, moving America closer towards globalization.
As long as you do not speak against the iatrarchal state, you will be allowed to speak freely. Any question of what is being injected, or suggestion it may not work, is justification for content removal.
Burn the Books
YouTube is also banning entire channels of many prolific authors including Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Joseph Mercola. What started with the [attempted] suppression of Alex Jones, has now spread to infect all who resist tyrannical oppression.
David Icke
Last year YouTube banned author David Icke’s channel for spreading “misinformation”.
A spokesperson for the restrictive online platform stating to BBC, “YouTube has clear policies prohibiting any content that disputes the existence and transmission of Covid-19 as described by the WHO and the NHS.” adding, “Due to continued violation of these policies, we have terminated David Icke’s YouTube channel.”
David Icke books are still available on his website. Like Alex Jones, his resistance against media suppression will not be silenced.
Dr. Joseph Mercola
Another author, and article writer Dr. Joseph Mercola’s channel was also banned. Dr. Mercola has articles published in the Epoch Times, as well as his own website. A press email for Dr. Mercola’s website said in a statement: “We are united across the world, we will not live in fear, we will stand together and restore our freedoms.”
Robert F. Kennedy Jr
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., author of The Real Anthony Fauci, has also been banned from the platform. Although his work has been controversial in the past, now RFK Jr. has become blacklisted as a source of “misinformation”.
RT News
In Russia, popular news outlet RT News has also fallen victim to these “thought crimes”. YouTube, has banned RT News from uploading content for one week due to spreading “false information about the coronavirus infection Covid-19,” without specifying exactly what caused the censorship.
RT responded calling the move “unprecedented information aggression,” and threatened to block YouTube.
RT’s editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan claimed the ban marked a “declaration of media war against Russia by Germany.” She called on Russia’s authorities to take retaliatory steps against German media, as well as targeting YouTube itself.
“The owners of the RT DE and Der Fehlende Part channels acted in good faith, in full compliance with the rules set by YouTube,” stated RT News in a letter contesting the removal “We believe that the blocking and deletion [of the RT DE and DFP channels] is therefore unwarranted.”
“We have received your appeal and forwarded it to specialists for consideration,” YouTube said in response on Thursday night.
Russia’s foreign ministry said it would draw up “a proposal to develop and take retaliatory measures against the YouTube hosting service and the German media”.
Statements
Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin Press Secretary told reporters, adding that the law had been broken. “There should certainly be zero tolerance for this kind of breaking of the law,” he said.
“It is a decision by YouTube, based on rules created by YouTube. It is not a measure (taken by) the German government or other official organisations,” German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert told reporters.
Christian Mihr, executive director at Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Germany, said the suppression against German journalists was “completely inappropriate”.
Alternative Media Suppression
Alternative media censorship is not only limited to YouTube. Many platforms are quickly working to remove any potentially conflicting content. Across the world powerful voices are speaking out, for those without a platform large enough to be heard. This effort is to protect the freedom of human individuality, as well as the right to follow one’s own individual belief system.
Jordan Peterson –
“How about my rights will not be made subject to your emergency?” asked Jordan Peterson in regards to the stigma against “anti-vaxers”.
The Doctor added “And how is ‘anti-vaxxer’ and different that ‘climate change denier’? And isn’t the ‘climate crisis’ an even bigger ‘emergency’?”
Dr. Peterson continued “And at a[t] time where if the vaccines work as advertised we are much safer than a year ago. And if they don’t? And what happens when the next influenza hits?”
Speaking on individual rights Dr. Jordan Peterson stated, “You think we should all ignore the risk over-reaching government poses to our rights for an illness with a 2% hospitalization rate (much decreased if you’re not elderly). I disagree.”
Conclusion
The modern fear of an alternative perspective brings us closer to an authoritative state. America is a country of founded on free speech, free press, freedom of religion and beliefs. A free press is necessary in order to inform the public, and protect citizens by exposing oppressive corruption. At the minimum, a free press provides a platform to encourage creativity and a tolerance of others.
In just the past century, there have been countless instances of censorship “for the good of society” or for “the protection and security” of the citizens.
China—the largest atheist population in the world—the Chinese Communist Party will suppress entire religious groups, for their beliefs. This “suppression” includes forced labor camps, re-education camps, and forced organ harvesting.
Could this horrific ideology be coursing its way through the veins of America? What is are the dangers of having alternative views? Should others an opposing belief system be punished?
