Senator Lindsey Graham—the fully vaccinated Republican from South Carolina—announced earlier in the day that he had been diagnosed with the Delta Variant. He reported coming down with “mild flu-like symptoms,” on Sunday.
Graham, 66, and reporting only “mild” symptoms, described the feeling of a sinus infection, crediting his strong immunity response to his COVID-19 vaccine, which he received in December.
Graham stated during a visit to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston that “the sooner we get everybody vaccinated, the quicker we can get back to normal.”
“I started having flu-like symptoms Saturday night and went to the doctor this morning. I feel like I have a sinus infection and at present time I have mild symptoms. I will be quarantining for ten days.” Graham added
“I am very glad I was vaccinated because without vaccination I am certain I would not feel as well as I do now,” he continued. “My symptoms would be far worse.”
Senator Graham stated he will quarantine for ten days, leaving him unable to vote on the more than $1 trillion infrastructure package which was debated for months in the Senate.
This wasn’t the first vaccinated senator to catch the delta variant. Florida Congressman Vern Buchanan—also fully vaccinated—came down with the delta variant. Representative Buchanan was fully vaccinated earlier this year, and quarantined at home with “very mild flu-like symptoms.”
With two senior members of Congress, having already caught the delta variant, and experienced little to no symptoms, what is the explanation for the hysteria being created mainstream media? Could the Biden Administration be using fear to rally up more support for the incoming “booster” shots?
Throughout the country, Mayors and small business owners have catered society around the Biden Administration’s depiction of the CDC’s suggestions and guidelines, as well as the suggestions of the World Health Organization (WHO) and of course suggestions of Dr. Fauci. None of who can determine the origin of the virus, or predict what exactly is to come.
The result has been an increasing authoritative control over small businesses—who previously were not allowed to operate—and their obligation to the government to enforce whatever “temporary” measures they see fit.
‘Temporary measures’ such as enforcing masks, vaccine passports, and refusal of service to any opposition. This has happened to such an extent that state governors have had to create laws banning these measures. Now, we have different restrictions nationwide, dividing our population into tribes, each with a different life altering experience from lockdown, or pandemic restrictions since early 2020.
America agrees of the importance to stay ahead of the virus, eliminating variants which could render the current vaccines ineffective. However, with new data being “uncovered” daily, the CDC constantly flip-flopping on their guidelines, and politicians politically weaponizing everything that moves, we can only ask: Are we truly thinking for ourselves? Who is running our country’s narrative? Is the delta variant worth so much of America’s focus?
As the FDA races to approve the newest creation, currently in preparation for mass injection, we can only ask ourselves: How much are these booster vaccines based upon scientific data and the benefit of the human race—versus financial incentive?
