Virgin Galactic’s Richard Branson Leaves Earth

On Sunday June 27th, Richard Branson became the first person to travel to space in a self-funded Spaceship. He beat both Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk in the billionaires race to launch themselves into space.

After more than 16 years of testing, Richard Branson’s spaceship, named Unity 22, carried six passengers into space, 53.41 miles (282,004 feet) above the Earth’s surface.

Jeff Bezos and Blue Origin both congratulated Branson via Twitter and Instagram on his successful flight.

Virgin Galactic has begun offering tickets to experience this for yourself. While the cost to blast into space is high, it’s an opportunity to observe earth from an outside perspective.

Capitalist billionaires like Richard Branson are paving the way for human space exploration. While progressive liberals plot to exploit America using taxpayer dollars, private investors are busy developing more accessible technology to benefit the future of humanity.

Richard Branson, as he left orbit, stated “For the next generation of dreamers—if we can do this, imagine what you can do”
