Gonzalo Lira: American Journalist Executed by the Ukrainian Government

The United States Federal Government consciously condemned an independent American journalist and YouTuber to his death; voiding him of his inherent Constitutional rights, privileges, and immunities as a natural-born U.S. citizen. After countless attempts by the public, even Congressmen and Congresswomen; yet no individual was able to mobilize the Biden administration to lift a finger on behalf of the imprisoned civilian being tortured by foreign government. Moreover, this same foreign government has been the recipient of over a hundred billion U.S. dollars siphoned from the pockets of the taxpayer, layered through inflation and monetary devaluation; yet the American journalist was left to die in prison for months until his eventual death. The U.S. government’s inaction was so apparent, it stands to resolve that they care not about a single civilian under their jurisdiction; instead focusing their policy on affluent benefit; deposing the civilian with the guarantee of sovereignty, descending to the obedient subject; to deter gruesome infelicitous self-extermination under false pretext.

On January 12th, 2024 it was announced that American journalist Gonzalo Lira, Jr., 55; was killed by the Ukrainian government while incarcerated and awaiting trial. Lira received zero support from the American government, despite the numerous influential voices who spoke on his behalf; yet the federal government continued to provide the Ukrainian government hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid. Lira was not just a proponent of human rights and a vocal dissident critic of the global cabal; he was an author, director, writer, journalist, father, husband, American natural-born citizen, and podcaster committed to revealing the truth, (YouTube). Lira’s tragic execution was the result of imprisonment due to his YouTube channel and the exposure of information hidden by the Establishment. His murder stands as a reminder that there are distinctly specific entities following a mutual agenda segregated from civic interests.

Is the truth propaganda? Gonzalo Lira, Jr.’s chilling question remains prominently displayed on the American journalist’s Twitter/X page; Lira expounds, [t]he more you understand, the less you forgive, (X). His statements depict his devastating demise, as his health conditions remained neglected by incumbent pols; even after mainstream attention had been brought to the dire situation at hand, whereby Gonzalo reported he had been held without trial while suffering from pneumonia since October 2023. Lira was abducted by Ukrainian authorities while trying to cross the border to escape Ukraine; his abduction and subsequent execution display the importance of free speech in a tyrannical authoritarian regime. America’s First Amendment to the Constitution does not apply internationally; especially when the individual dissents against the narrative established by the nefarious global iatrarchy.

The Right to Dissent

On April 22, 2022, at 6:58am EST, Gonzalo Lira wrote; “[f]or the truth about the Zelensky regime, Google these names: Vlodymyr Struk; Denis Kireev; Mikhail & Aleksander Kononovich; Nestor Shufrych; Yan Taksyur; Dmitri Djangirov; Elena Berezhnaya; Once again: If you haven’t heard from me in 12 hours or more, put my name on this list. GL” (X; Workers). Two years later, the names remain horrifyingly significant; as the democidal regime expands its list of victims, Gonzalo Lira stands as a martyr of liberty; a casualty to the Zelensky regime while in Ukrainian prison awaiting trial. Moreover, the Biden Administration continues to fund the concerning neo-Nazi ultranationalist government with American weapons to fight Russian forces by proxy; the U.S. government makes no sign of enacting preventative measures to subdue the commencing encroachment of World War III (WWIII). World War can be avoided if America stops funding nefarious forces, spreading international democracy, engaging in modernization, and expecting dependency from these curated nation-states. Furthermore, the American government cannot expect support from citizens after publicly committing tyranny; id est treason against civilians.

The mainstream media has not discussed Lira’s demise, beyond accusations of being unmerited. The author of this report has denoted overwhelming evidence, correlative to the available literature available on the internet, whereby federal agents and military personnel have affirmed that Ukrainian militia like the Azov Battalion and others were trained by the U.S. military. The average individual does not have the time to fact-check the propaganda spewed into the public trough of deception; therefore the Establishment has exploited civic trust.

The Government’s Violation of American Laws

  • First Amendment Violation

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads; “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Gonzalo Lira possessed the inherent right to exercise free speech, and exercise freedom of the press; this includes international travel, therefore nothing Gonzalo Lira did violated any form of American law. Speaking against politicians in corrupt government is a foundational principle of the American nation; instinctually bound to its citizens, including Gonzalo Lira. No American citizens can be deprived of their Constitutional rights; pursuant to U.S. Code Title 18; Section 242.

  • U.S. Code Title 22 Violation – U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23; Subchapter I

U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23; §1731. Protection to naturalized citizens abroad

All naturalized citizens of the United States while in foreign countries are entitled to and shall receive from this Government the same protection of persons and property which is accorded to native-born citizens, (U.S.House).

U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23; §1732. Release of citizens imprisoned by foreign governments

Whenever it is made known to the President that any citizen of the United States has been unjustly deprived of his liberty by or under the authority of any foreign government, it shall be the duty of the President forthwith to demand of that government the reasons of such imprisonment; and if it appears to be wrongful and in violation of the rights of American citizenship, the President shall forthwith demand the release of such citizen, and if the release so demanded is unreasonably delayed or refused, the President shall use such means, not amounting to acts of war and not otherwise prohibited by law, as he may think necessary and proper to obtain or effectuate the release; and all the facts and proceedings relative thereto shall as soon as practicable be communicated by the President to Congress, (U.S.House).

It was explicitly made known; the Biden Administration did nothing. There were zero attempts made to even question the nature of his imprisonment by any part of the Executive Branch. His family, friends, and followers made countless calls to the State Department to no avail. The U.S. federal government allowed an American citizen to die at the hands of a foreign government without divulging consideration for the enumerated obligation to protect human life; justly promised in their initial oath of office.

U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23; §1741. Assistance for United States nationals unlawfully or wrongfully detained abroad

(a) Review

The Secretary of State shall review, as expeditiously as possible, the cases of United States nationals detained abroad to determine if there is credible information that they are being detained unlawfully or wrongfully, (U.S.House).

The Secretary of State voided all obligated responsibility, leaving Gonzalo Lira to die.

U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23 §1741a. Special Envoy for Hostage Affairs

(a) Establishment

There shall be a Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, who shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, and shall report to the Secretary of State, (U.S.House).

No such Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs occurred, nor was any attempt of appointment made by the incumbent president Joe Biden.

U.S. Code Title 22; Chapter 23 §1741d. Authorization of imposition of sanctions

(a) In general

The President may impose the sanctions described in subsection (b) with respect to any foreign person the President determines, based on credible evidence—

(1) is responsible for or is complicit in, or responsible for ordering, controlling, or otherwise directing, the hostage-taking of a United States national abroad or the unlawful or wrongful detention of a United States national abroad; or

(2) knowingly provides financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services in support of, an activity described in paragraph (1)., (U.S.House).

No Ukrainian sanction occurred; conversely, America funneled over a hundred billion dollars to fight a proxy war with Russia; without regard to the life of Gonzalo Lira. The partisan affiliation of any American citizen has no bearing over the value of their lives; no human being should be deprived of their life based on their nonviolent political views. The U.S. government disgracefully disregarded the needs of an imprisoned American journalist, allowing him to perish at the hands of the nation’s prison system; Lira contracted pneumonia in both lungs, agreeing to a surgical procedure that ultimately ended his life. The Ukrainian government made no effort to provide medical assistance after Gonzalo Lira missed his trial due to the rapid decline of his health.

  • U.S. Code Title 18 Violation – Section 242

Title 18, U.S.C., § 242

Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States,…and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, [those responsible] shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death, (DOJ).

Section 242 of Title 18 implies that any abuse of power including negligence, leading to deprive an American citizen of their rights, privileges or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, (U.S.House). It also asserts that the punishment for such offenses is imprisonment for life, or sentenced to death.

The Government Acknowledged Gonzalo Lira

On June 6th, 2023 Vedant Patel, U.S. Principle Deputy Spokesperson gave a Department Press Briefing at the White House whereby Patel was asked publicly by a reporter; to “please explain why the State Department so far has been completely silent on the detainment of Gonzalo Lira? He is a U.S. citizen and journalist. Does [sic] the State Department has been very vocal when Evan Gershkovich was arrested, and so far we haven’t heard anything about Lira,” (WhiteHouse). Vedant Patel responded stating; “[w]ell, whenever an American citizen is detained abroad, we ensure to raise to, directly, with governments the ability for consular access and that they are affronted all basic access for consular notifications. But I don’t have any other specifics to offer there,” Patel added; “we probably need to wrap [up],” allowing for one further question before ending the Press Conference completely, (WhiteHouse). Evan Gershkovich is a reporter at the Wall Street Journal who was detained in Russia; the first citizen since the Cold War. The Wall Street Journal’s biography for Evan Gershkovich reads; “Evan is a Wall Street Journal reporter who was detained in Russia on March 29 while doing his job as a journalist,” (WSJ). Was not the same true for Gonzalo Lira? Lira didn’t collect sensitive information for foreign governments beyond his interpretation and analysis.

The U.S. national government held advance notice of Lira’s detainment, yet did nothing to intervene with the Ukrainian government on the American journalist’s behalf; instead sentencing him to death for a dissident YouTube channel. Free speech does not include a foreign government-funded execution of American civilians; the government could have deported him long before taking matters into their own hands. Gonzalo Lira did nothing wrong.

Scripture reminds us to follow the truth, no matter the cost; Gonzalo Lira followed the truth until the final moments of his life, and for that is worthy of remembering his commitment to candor. Let us never forget to be objective when questioning the nature of our reality and the authoritative actors encountered along the way; the exists no substitute for truth. As the Lord states; Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’ (Revelation 2:10-11; ESV)

Gonzalo Lira, Sr.

Gonzalo Lira’s father, Gonzalo Lira Sr., posted a message;

My son, GONZALO LIRA, died in a hospital in Kharkiv between 11-12 pm Ukraine time yesterday January 11th, 2024. I cannot accept the way my son has died. He was tortured, extorted, incommunicado for 8 months and 11 days and the US Embassy did nothing to help my son. The responsibles of this tragedy is the dictator Zelensky with the concurrence of a senile American President, Joe Biden. Please read his file enclosed from that kangaroo Court hearings and you will see that the charges were a political question and Biden gave the green light to that bloody dictator to put my son in prison. My pain is unbearable. The world must know what is going on in Ukraine with that inhuman dictator Zelensky. IF YOU BELIEVE IN DEMOCRACY AND DECENCY, MAKE THE WORLD KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO A DECENT AND VERY INTELLIGENT MAN WHO PREDICTED THAT UKRAINE WOULD NEVER WIN A WAR AGAINST RUSSIA AND THE FINANCIAL PUNISHMENTS WOULD BACKFIRE ON THE USA. Gonzalo Lira Sr., (Twitter).

Last Words

Gonzalo Lira’s last words were written on paper from prison, using a blue pen; whereby Lira voiced his final request;

Tell my sister:

I have had a double pneumonia (both lungs) as well as pneumotorax [sic; pneumothorax; collapsed lung] and a very servere case of edema (swelling of the body). All this started in mid-October, but was ignored by the prison. They only admitted I had pneumonia at a Dec. 22 hearing. I am about to have a procedure to reduce the edema presuure in my lungs, which is causing me extreme shortness of breath, to the point of passing out after minimal activity, or even just talking for two minutes. Gonzalo.

Conclusion

Gonzalo’s untimely execution reveals the horrifying truth about government; it is incapable of displaying human emotions, such as compassion; therefore, definitive proof that it cannot be trusted to care for those truly in need. The individual possesses the obligation to actively sew into God’s Kingdom; and invest their own earnings; skills; or ideas into the betterment of society; sadly, this evidently extends to political prisoners, no matter their citizenship. The U.S. government more lucrative to allow a barbaric government to torture and execute an American citizen than become embroiled in international conflict on behalf of human dignity; evidently, the U.S. government is willing to kill as many citizens as they need to paint Putin as the villain; blaming its poor decisions, neglectful inaction, and egregious policy; on the necessity to fight Russia.

Gonzalo Lira’s murder by a foreign government bears extreme importance to the American nation, the sovereignty of its citizens, and the posterity of inherent rights; Lira was himself a natural born citizen, born in Burbank, California. His death reveals that politicians and bureaucrats within the Establishment are self-centered narcissists whose only concern is their personal interests and prosperity; no matter the losses incurred to those around them. It is the duty of the American government to attempt a negotiation with foreign leaders who unjustly detain American citizens; in Lira’s case his incarceration was from free speech; his recorded podcasts online from the privacy of his home resulted in the killing of an American civilian at the hands of tyrannical dictatorship, funded by taxpayers through the U.S. federal government.

Gonzalo Lira reminds us that; “the past is never over… it’s never even the past,” (YouTube).
