In a flaunt of power, New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced that starting on December 14th, 2021 all children ages 5 and up will now require proof of vaccination to participate in society.
His authoritative program, called the “Key To NYC”, aims to influence citizens to perceive receiving their mandated vaccines as a key, unlocking their American civil rights. No longer are only the choices of the individual choosing to live in NYC restricted, but the entire family must adhere to the state of iatrarchy, bending the knee to collectivism, adhering to reformed thought.
While many restaurant owners themselves do not wish to enforce these standards, noncompliance will ultimately negatively impact the profit and success of their business. Similar to businesses owned by citizens of the Chinese Communist Party, failure to show that you stand with the party, defaults you as threat to the regime.
Now, these measures must be applied equally to all, even children, who must show proof that they also have receive these experimental inoculations, or risk being barred from public resources and raised in a country without civil rights.

In order for communist ideology to be implemented, the citizens must be choose the belief of the party over their own personal beliefs. This historically allows a self perpetuating system of silent control fueled by fear, to be enforced.
Citizens deserve the right to live as they please despite the oppressive discouragement the government provides, often attempting to limit free thoughts, in an effort to propagate their own agenda. Just because major pharmaceutical manufacturers can profit off of the both the creation and sale of more vaccines, does not give it right to smear a medical regime over the constitution of America. Freedom of choice involves individual risk, and those opportunities are provided in the free world of America. This a a country unlike anywhere else, yet slowly the freedom of our nation is defaced by both foreign and medical government influence.

Slowly, citizens in major cities like New York City, are become used to gaining temporary access to public resources, even the right to operate their own personal business. The more our nation asks of the government for assistance with personal matters, the more the state sees an opportunity to invade our personal liberties, converting the freedom of America into another form.
To what degree should Americans as individuals be responsible for their own decisions, actions, and free will? What constitutes the justified removal of free will from law-abiding U.S. citizens? How will de Blasio’s decision effect small businesses, and even the destinations of tourists who enter New York City? Is this measure just a temporary mandate, or does this mark the end of the publicly accepted individual thought in America’s major cities?
