The NSA responded today to allegations that they had been “spying” on Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson. Last night, Tucker announced that a Whistleblower had informed him that the NSA was watching him, and leaked information from his personal emails and data.
Tucker Carlson was alerted by an NSA Whistleblower that the NSA had details from Tucker’s personal emails. Tucker Carlson stated on air that this ‘illegal surveillance’ was “confirmed”.
Jen Psaki was questioned by a Reporter who asked: “Tucker Carlson said that the NSA is spying on him. Is the administration aware of any espionage or listening efforts on U.S. Citizens by the NSA? And is Tucker Carlson one of them?”
Jen responded: “Well the NSA, as I think you’re well aware, I’m sure everyone’s aware, everyone on this plane is aware I should say, is an entity that focuses on foreign threats and individuals who are trying, attempting to do us harm on foreign soil. So that is their purview. But beyond that, I would point you to the intelligence community.”

Tucker Carlson also reached out numerous times to General Paul Nakasone, the NSA Director, who has yet to return his calls.
In the Tweet, featuring a clip from Tucker Carlson Tonight, Tucker said “Last night on the show, we made a very straightforward claim: ‘NSA has read my private emails without my permission, period.’ That’s what we said” he continued, “Tonight’s statement from the NSA does not deny that.”

Now that the Biden Administration has classified tens of millions of Patriotic Americans–the kind who served in Military, who fly flags in front of their homes–as potential domestic terrorists, white-supremacist saboteurs, we’re gonna see a whole lot more of this kind of thing–a whole lot more.” Tucker concluded.
If the NSA is illegally spying on journalists and ordinary civilians, they are wasting time and valuable resources that could be used protecting our country from actual threats. Free Speech is not a threat. Patriots are not a threat. Americans are not a threat. People who wish to impose violent harm to our country, or its citizens are the ones that should be being monitored. The NSA needs to preserve its focus and direct it away from Free Speech. The voice of the people can not be eradicated.
