On Friday, May 1st, 2026, Infowars will be forcibly shut down. The information publication that has remained under fire for decades, since its 1999 founding, must now prepare to exit its vehicle. But Alex Jones’ broadcast isn’t over; as the network transfers to its new brand, he will continue to produce content daily under The Alex Jones Network. The shutdown has in no way mitigated the reach of the news network—if anything, it has driven more popularity to Alex Jones. Yet, fans of the network incur additional detriment, as the digital hub of information begins to fall. If anything, Infowars displayed the hunger that the average citizen has to receive access to accurate information; rather than be lied to by government, and its subsidiaries. Being a proponent of antipolitics, Infowars has remained a platform to inspire both resilient individualism and engage in peaceful collective action. The Infowars brand delivered information, articles, emails, news, books, videos, supplements, apparel, gear, accessories, and stickers—all which will continue under the Alex Jones Network brand.
The First Amendment to the US Constitution states, “Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.” (U.S. Const. amend. I). Now, the court has ruled that the First Amendment is no longer applicable to Infowars news reporters, publications, and their corresponding networks. The takings of Infowars will not deter the American citizen from engaging in free speech—it will encourage it. Prior radical adjudications of the judiciary have proven to be historically unstable, and overturned in subsequent Justices.
What those who strive to dismantle the information war against despotic politicians and their bureaucratic counterparts fail to recognize is that Alex Jones inspired a generation of new, similar platforms, and Americans will not be silenced by government nor the actions of the judiciary. Here, an attack on inherent civil rights inspires political revolution. Specifically, that political revolution will be the peaceful investment of information, to battle against the misguided narratives imposed by the malevolent Establishment.
JMBK.NEWS is a publication that was directly inspired by Alex Jones’ Infowars platform during the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic, to report and recount the errs and mishandling of New York City’s public policy during the crisis. During an episode of the Alex Jones Show, Alex reiterated that his goal was that his listeners be informed, independent of his show; “I encourage you to go and start your own Infowars,” he said. Now, small publications and individuals are endowed with the obligation to bear the torch, and continue the legacy of Infowars. Free speech is a divine gift granted by God, and shall not be infringed by government as written in the US Constitution, the highest law in the land. Scripture calls all citizens, including journalists and lawyers, to “[o]pen your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute. Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy,” (ESV, 2001, Proverbs 31:8,9).
While the federal government works to abdicate the supremacy of the US Constitution, State governments persist in routine violations of the inherent rights of the citizenry. Therefore, it is the duty of the public to remain informed and share information with their neighbors—not battle against their differences, no matter the contrasts in worldview. The presupposed quality of the public’s cultural diversity needn’t source contention, nor hatred; “[f]or we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places,” (ESV, 2001, Ephesians 6:12).
In sum, no matter the future of the Infowars name, its message lives on in the spirit of American liberty unto posterity. Now, the information war is inherited by the new generation of citizen investigators tasked to moderate the actions of government. Thus, Americans must mitigate the encroachment of tyranny through public access to information and freedom of speech. We are all Alex Jones. You are the resistance. God bless America.
