Biden has lost control of our borders, as mass amounts of recent immigrants gather under Texas’ infrastructure. There was no plan set in place, expect getting foreign migrants across our U.S. border, no matter the cost.
Now Americans must watch in horror the disparity of impoverished third world countries, as they commute their morning drive to work. This humanitarian crisis was artificially created by our President’s neglect of the U.S. Border, in addition to his warm open border invitations and financial incentives for refugees who come seeking asylum.
Following the devastating events of Haiti, most of the now 10,503 immigrants are Haitian refugees. As thousands more arrived, they began congregating outside on the ground. This inhumane crisis is a result of the Biden Administration’s disconnected understanding of U.S. Immigration laws. Using his signature “hands off” approach, the border crisis has now become a humanitarian crisis.
“I have directed the Department of Public Safety and the Texas National Guard to surge personnel and vehicles to shut down six points of entry along the southern border to stop these caravans from overrunning our state,” said Texas Governor Greg Abbott. He continued “Six hours after the U.S. Customs and Border Protection requested help from Texas to close ports of entry and secure the border, the Biden Administration has now flip-flopped to a different strategy that abandons border security and instead makes it easier for people to cross illegally and for cartels to exploit the border. The Biden Administration is in complete disarray and is handling the border crisis as badly as the evacuations from Afghanistan,” Abbott said.
Ted Cruz posted in a statement on Twitter, “Del Rio Texas September 16 underneath the bridge. Behind me, 10,503 people. This is a crisis that is unfolding, a man made crisis. Just over a week ago, there were fewer than 1000 people here, under the bridge, averaging between 700 and 1000. Then on September 8. The Biden aministration made a decision to cancel deportation flights, back to Haiti. The vast majority of these illegal immigrants crossing the Del Rio are from Haiti.”
Senator Cruz continued “When they made that decision, eight days ago, 700 to 1000 people who were here discovered they could stay. They pulled out their cell phones, they called their friends, they called their family. And Eight days later, 700 People became 10,500. This is a disaster, and it is a man made disaster. It is the result of political decisions, and Joe Biden could end this tomorrow, by simply following the law, and reinstating deportation flights back. When you have open borders, this is what you get. Let me say to the heroes—the men and women of border patrol—who are risking their lives trying to do a job that their political superiors won’t let them do. We appreciate your service. We appreciate your service This is wrong, this is not humane, this is not passionate. This is lawless and it is inviting suffering. This needs to end.”
Open borders have left our country responsible for a humanitarian crisis that needs the attention of our nation. Our disorganization our the U.S.-Mexico border combined with recent world events have incentivized immigrants to travel to the borders in hopes of entering our country illegally, as many are impoverished seeking a better life.
For Americans who are legal immigrants, or whose parents legally immigrated know the process they or their family had to endure in order to become a legal citizen of this country. Immigrants should not be able to bypass our U.S. immigration process by the Biden Administration in order to weaponize voters.
